I've lived in the Calhoun County area most of my life, raised my family here, and committed 25 years to a local non-profit agency serving children and families across the state.

I served 20 years as school superintendent for Athens, Marshall, Mar-Lee, and Albion, and remain an active member of my community to this day.

There is so much moving in the wrong direction locally and nationwide. We will only fix what is wrong through bipartisan efforts. Serious legislators bridging divides so we can deliver for Michiganders.

Working families are being squeezed from every angle and the politicians in Washington and Lansing are NOT helping. Too many are in it for themselves, and too many put party loyalty first, instead of putting the people first.

Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent - your representatives should work to invest in you and your community. Party politics should not get in the way of serving constituents and delivering on issues that impact families.
